As you know, the Conservative journalist blogger who has officially said that he does not want to practice honest journalism, but to instead bring down the left wing media establishment, is to be sued by Sherrod for his posting of an edited video that misrepresented Sherrod's racial views. This video directly led to her being fired from her position. QUESTIONS: Is this the proper course of action for Sherrod? Would you have sued someone if they posted an edited video online that does not represent your views, which got you fired? Is Sherrod doing the right thing? If Sherrod wins this lawsuit, what will this mean for Breitbart and Fox News, as they continuously misrepresent facts and defame people's character on television? Will Fox News actually have to practice honest journalism in the future for fear of being sued for misrepresentation and defamation of character? Or is it a free country and Fox and Breitbart should be allowed to drag people's names through the mud, cause them financial and emotional injury, and lie at will?
